Moteefe, a London-based social commerce platform, raised $2.2 million in seed funding. Investors include Charles Songhurst, Livingbridge, Force Over Mass Capital, Fuel Ventures and Ascension Ventures.

Moteefe, a site that allows entrepreneurs sell custom clothing via social media, has raised $2.2m – taking its total investment to date to $2.5m. The second round of funding the start-up has received to-date, this latest injection of cash will be used to drive international growth and expansion.

The new platform, released this week, provides a complete overhaul of the previous site’s front end. The re-designed website offers a multi-product builder, new product offerings, and a lower pricing structure, as well as an updated look and feel. Aimed to help both existing and new users, the platform now has an intuitive and easy-to-use flow based on extensive UX/UI research.

Moteefe, a platform that allows individuals to design and sell custom clothing has raised a £1.75M seed funding round from investors that include Ascension Ventures, Fuel Ventures, Livingbridge, and Charles Songhurst. This is the first funding round for the company founded by Mathijs Eefting in 2014.

With investment now totalling $2.5m, social commerce platform Moteefe have launched a new and improved platform to help enable entrepreneurs to create additional revenue streams through customised products.

With millions of sales through the site in 2016, its second full year of operating, the social commerce platform has now seen a large portion of sellers hit the £50K mark in under six months. Moteefe is currently used extensively in the European and Asian territories and focuses on the immediate time-to-market and selling via social media sides of creating custom products.

Moteefe is a platform that enables users to design and sell their own collection of customised products. The firm sought to raise £1,750,186 in return for 20% equity, but ended up raising £1,758,504 at a pre-money valuation of £7m.
